Terms of Service

aiLabSlip is a business-to-business service intended for use by dental practices and dental service organizations (“Customer,” “you”) and their authorized users. It is not intended for personal, family, or household use. By using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

aiLabSlip lets authorized users upload or connect dental laboratory documents, extract their contents using optical character recognition (OCR), review and correct the extracted data, and export it. Features may change over time as we improve the service.

Where aiLabSlip is used to process protected health information (“PHI”), that processing is governed by a Business Associate Agreement (“BAA”) between AIFees and the Customer. To the extent these Terms conflict with the BAA with respect to PHI, the BAA controls. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle PHI as a Business Associate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials, for the activity of your authorized users, and for ensuring that only appropriate individuals have access. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or suspected security incident.

You are responsible for:

• Having a lawful basis to upload and process the documents and PHI you submit.
• Maintaining a current BAA with AIFees before processing PHI through the service.
• Configuring access controls and managing your authorized users appropriately.
• The accuracy of the data you submit and the decisions you make based on extracted output.

You agree not to:

• Use the service in violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
• Attempt to access data belonging to other organizations, or to circumvent tenant isolation or security controls.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without authorization, or interfere with its normal operation.
• Upload malicious code or use the service to transmit unlawful or infringing content.

OCR and automated extraction are provided to assist with data entry and are not guaranteed to be complete or accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying extracted data before relying on it. AIFees is not liable for decisions made on the basis of unverified extracted output.

Except as expressly stated, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIFees will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues.

Nothing in this section limits or excludes any obligation or liability of AIFees under HIPAA or the applicable BAA, and to the extent this section conflicts with the BAA with respect to PHI, the BAA controls.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify Customers. Continued use of aiLabSlip after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
